What is covered?

In summary, we'll cover you if

• You lost assets to a scam in a confirmed transaction

• You were using Pocket Universe and saw the pop up for the transaction where the loss occurred

• You didn't see a warning or simulation results showing that you were going to lose those assets

You need to have seen a Pocket Universe popup, which means that we only cover transactions on chains that we support. Currently that is Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, Arbitrum and Optimism.

We will continually add more chains based on demand and technical feasibility.

How much is covered?

We cover X% of the value of assets lost up to $2000. The % coverage starts at 50% and can be increased up to 100% through the Referral program.

Your coverage % can be seen from the banner in the extension pop-up.

What isn't covered?

We do not cover asset losses results from

• Compromised seed phrases or private keys
  e.g. from malware or typing your seedphrase to someone

  
  

• Rugpulled projects
  e.g. where the founders leave

  
  

• Losses that are not from your wallet

  e.g. from a smart contract you deploy or from a Gnosis Safe

  
  

• Ignored warnings in Pocket Universe

  e.g. you continued with the transaction despite seeing a scam warning

  
  

• Pocket Universe didn't pop up

  e.g. you disabled the extension, or installed another extension that interferes with our popup

  
  

• Lost funds from before using Pocket Universe or before you got a Pocket Protect token

  e.g. you lose funds a year ago before using our tool or this program

In addition, we reserve the right to refuse coverage payment in cases where

• there is evidence of the assets not being lost to a 3rd party scammer

  e.g. you set up a scam for yourself

  
  

• there is insufficient evidence for assets being lost

  e.g. Etherscan link unable to be provided

  
  

• there is insufficient evidence for Pocket Universe being used

  e.g. no simulation result from that wallet on our servers

How much funding is there for coverage?

We are currently committing $100K USDC of our own funds to cover these losses. We plan to increase this over time. In the unlikely event that the funding runs out, we'll announce next steps based on the circumstances.
